"I had to buy a new desktop computer. The old one had a line-out socket in the sound card that the single mini male plug on my computer speakers' subwoofer/amplifier worked with. The new soundcard has 1 left and 1 right mini socket so I needed a mini splitter or "Y" with double male plugs and a single female plug. looked at Radio Shack first.
