Response: We only advertise this to swivel 30 degrees left and right. If this product were made with hydraulic pistons to control its “up down” movement, then it would not be possible for the mount to remain in that natural hold position. It is thus made this way be design.
"Product is very cheaply made. Uses spring tension instead of hydraulic pistons. Also it does not swivel side to side very much. Only about 20 degrees or less. Inferior parts make the a DO NOT BUY."
