"This product did exactly what it was designed to. It converted the CTIA jack on an Intel based laptop to the OMTP wiring.standard; reversing the second ground ring with the mic sleeve. Now the sleeve is ground to match pro grade audio gear, and the second ring is for the mic. For TRS wiring gear to work on TRRS plugs, jacks and cables; another adapter is required."

"I am an individual consumer and I have a portable 14" TV with a coax connection. The design makes it quite difficult to screw in a coax antenna when needed. This male/female adapter is perfect to extend the connection beyond the TV's body. The push type male side makes it even easier. "This recent purchase (cat8 ethernet, Elite 48Gbs 8k) was only for the cabling needs of a couple small projects and was based on my satisfaction of years of outstanding performance of cables from a previous purchase. Their cable specifications, materials and features will stand-up to those costing twice as much or more. I discovered My Cable Mart about twelve years ago when I was cabling up a new home theater system consisting of a 3D plasma tv, turntable, receiver, amplifier, power conditioner and multiple BluRay / DVD players. There were numerous, various types of cables purchased (e.g., HDMI, Toslink optical audio, ethernet, bulk 14 ga. speaker cable). I always purchase the latest class of ethernet cables to avoid any data throughput issues and by purchasing the Elite line of 18Gbs HDMI cables then, I future proofed my capabilities and currently have plenty of bandwidth to support the now more common needs of 4K. I believe that too much bandwidth is optimal. My Cable Mart will always be my go to source for all of my future cable needs and should be yours too."
