	"Connected the FE-ADT-298 - 4 Conductor TRRS F to 2x3.5mm M Audio/Microphone (Android) Breakout Cable, with the FE-ADT-267 - 3.5mm 4 Conductor TRRS MALE to 3 RCA FEMALE L/R Audio & Video Adapter Cable, to go into a Sabrent au-mmsa usb audio adapter on one end (via cable headphones jack to usb audio adapter mic input, dodging the usb audio adapter ring which shorts to its own ground after a resistor), and on the rca end, I sent coaxial attenuated tip and ring channels into white and yellow respectively; the different trrs specs of these cables allowed me to move the ground to the second trrs ring and abandon it (lifting ground) on the cable mic jack that is left unplugged, and send my ring channel into the usb audio adapter ground/sleeve pin: I was going from line level balanced to mic level unbalanced after a transformer, which transformer was after the distribution amplifier output (which output may have also been a transformer, or maybe active output, so shorting my ring to ground was inadvisable). Basically I attenuated my ring channel so low (160dB with eight 20dB coaxial attenuators) that it became my ground reference (snr was maybe beyond 80db) while still allowing the circuit to complete. On the tip line, I attenuated to mic level and one of those coaxial attenuators was dc blocking to block the dc bias voltage on the usb audio adapter tip which was saturating that earlier transformer and messing with the even earlier audio distribution amplifier causing it to cut out repeatedly (a separate coaxial dc block could also be used instead). My coaxial attenuators were rated down to zero volts (dc-frequency) and 20db return loss to minimize reflections, but that throws off line level to mic level attenuation by 5%, so I'd recommend 47db attenuation on the white channel to go from +4dbu to -43dbu and if it's off by 5%, you're still below -40dbu and thus mic level. Attenuate 34db if going from -10dbv to mic level with 5% error possible. I wish you had the coaxial attenuators (f-type) and dc block needed and I'd have gotten them from you. Steren is one brand option. Tech tool supply had some others I also used. Thanks! P.S. Your website sorting functionality didn't work, if I recall. Otherwise it was good."

	I am working from home and my headset was not compatible with the purchased computer so I needed to purchase an adapter cable. This product was not available in stores so I went online and purchased it. It arrived sooner than expected and I have no problems installing or using it. 	Bought a Gaming headset, and the mic/headset jack on the controller would not allow enough Mic gain. By allowing me to connect the headset to the computer front panel i/o I could now adjust the mic as needed. Great Product no one locally to me caries.
