I wanted a regular usb connector, I got some kind of mini connector, maybe it would be helpful to have measurements, I'm not a engineer and don't know what "gen" or "type C" mean

I use the adapter plug when my Samsung Galaxy s9 phone is on a stand or otherwise needs the cable to be connected at 90 degrees to "sit properly." I like the fact that the adapter "clicks" into place.
