This product was used to build a stereo unbalanced-to-balanced adapter cable: a 3.5 mm stereo plug (red = left, black = right, shield = ground) wired into an Extron 5-pin Phoenix block with jumpers tying L− and R− to ground.

I'm using it to make a cable for my morse code key. I attached a TRS plug. It worked fine, but I would have liked it better if it were a little more flexible.

This cable gauge is extremely too thin to be used properly for XLR cables. I feel deceived by it’s advertising saying that it can be used for this. On top of that, the service I received in efforts to solve this issue was extremely underwhelming. I would like to exchange it for thicker how’ve cabling or return for my money back.

Good quality. If using with XLR connectors, use heat shrink tubing on the end so the strain relief clamp of the connector can grab hold of the cable,
