	I am wiring up a Mardi Gras float so that any DJ or sound company can simply plug in their speakers and DJ equipment and not worry about running XLR/Mic cables. By using these mount connectors (both M and F) along with the plates, I was able to easily install them in simple grey electric gang boxes and protect them from weather/paint/damage by using a standard blank cover or outdoor outlet cover. Very flexible installation and use case.
