I used these 50ft cables to run between an amplifier and (2) PA speakers on either side of the stage. I was using 25ft cables which worked fine but they weren't long enough. Unfortunately, the cables did not work well and I had to go back to the original setup. I think the extra distance was too much of a line drop because, although I got sound, I had to max out the gain on the mixer and on the amp to get an acceptable level. The quality of the sound out of the speakers was degraded as well and resulted in a lot of low end reduction. Lastly, we had an electronic drum set in the system as well and the increased length caused a latency which was very difficult to deal with especially for a drummer. I can't say the cables didn't work though, I just think my application was not suitable. Live and learn.

RESPONSE: We have tested these 50ft lengths. In all circumstances, when running LONGER LENGTHS you will ALWAYS get some additional signal loss.
