The HDMI 4Kx2K@60Hz OVER CAT6 is designed to carry Ultra HD (4Kx2K) HDMI signals over distances beyond the capability of standard HDMI cable. It extends video over the cost-effective CAT 6 cables (1 ONLY required) up to 394ft and 4Kx2K@60Hz. Power supplied at both the receiving and sending unit (included). We recommend the use of HIGH QUALITY ETL or UL listed CAT6, CAT6A, or CAT7 cables when using with lengths over 300ft.
Peer to Peer Use
The LK-V393-KIT includes a SINGLE Transmitter and a SINGLE receiver unit which are designed to be used together. This can provide full connectivity at 4K from a SOURCE (such as a 4K BlueRay Player) to a DISPLAY (such as a 4K Ultra HighDef TV). When ONLY this product is purchased (ie the KIT), a point to point 4Kx2K video/audio link between 1 source and 1 display is provided for long distance HDMI transport using standard networking cable.
Distributed Use
When additional LK-V393-RX modules are used in combination with a standard networking switch (not included), this product can be used as a 4Kx2K video distribution system (ie HDMI splitter). 1 additional LK-V393-RX module (Receiver unit) is required for each additional display that you want your signal to be sent to. Networking switch NOT included (required) for such LAN signal distribution.
