I'm replacing several other hubs... my notebook computer only has two USB ports. I do wish I knew how many external hard drives this can power, and/or perhaps get a higher-powered external power supply to support more...!

Why would a company in Minnesota United States ship to New York State an
International round two prong plug? It makes no sense. your picture is not clear enough to distinguish and your description made no mention as far as I can remember.
We were forced 2 buy an adapter at additional cost.
Have not used the device yet as the adapter has not arrived Plus the business has been closed due to Coronavirus and probably will not open for another month. Then I can evaluate the product itself.

The hub itself is excellent. However, when the hub came the corner "sockets" in the plastic case for the screws to hold the case together were broken on all four corners. This wasn't apparent till actually opening the retail package. The hub was well packaged for shipping, so I don't think that is how they got broken. I was able to glue the case together, since I needed it sooner rather than later.

My work is podcasting and audio editing among other things. I am a pastoral entrepreneur. I have purchased numerous USB hubs. Nearly every single one had a short in it. This has caused me to lose many long editing jobs. This hub has 13 ports. I use every one of them. Finally, an inexpensive, high capacity hub that DOESN'T SHORT OUT. I don't think I have been unlucky in the past; I think the previous hubs I have purchased were all so cheaply made and that whoever in China that makes them doesn't bother to test anything. I will be ordering more electronics as I need them from you. Obviously, if this hub is exemplary of the rest of your line, it is of higher quality than all this other stuff out there - or maybe I got lucky, I'll let you know.

The pin from the power adapter doesn't fit completely into the unit, leaving an exposed metal band. Still works, but concerned it might fall out.

The powered hub worked even better than I had hoped....My computer has trouble starting when my flash drives are turned, Your hub simply has a on/off switch. Now my computer starts the first time....Thank you again.

My Macintosh will not boot-up with the hub plugged into any of it's USB ports. I do not see why, either. It doesn't matter if the supplied outboard power supply is connected or not. Therefore the unit has proved useless.
