I use it for 2 things A) to hook up between cameras with strobe abilities so I can trigger them from a hot shoe remotely B) to connect audio between my Marshall Code 25 & 50 watt amps to sound boards or to connect MP3 players or phones to the amplifiers. Using the L shaped connectors keeps the jacks from being torn up if someone trips or pulls on the cords somehow. The L just comes disconnected and usually nothing breaks

My handicapped sister needed an adapter to right-angle her headphone plug where it joined the CD player, and also to spare the headphone plug from wearing down. This is perfect; only the adapter needs to be replaced if it wears down.

I had to search, but I found this great adapter for the cheapest price here at Cable Mart. Yeah, it sounds like a stereotypical review, but Amazon would charge no less than $7 and I got this, including shipping for around $4 for a better product. It sounds great and works for what I needed. I have a pair of headphones that will not connect directly to my phone because the jack is too big to fit in the OtterBox port hole. I also wanted it for using headphones while gaming because otherwise the cord takes up a lot of mouse space. I am pleased to report it solves both problems and has good quality besides! Thanks, Cable Mart!
