I bought this as an adapter to a headset that has a 3.5mm plug. Unfortunately this plug wasn't compatible. No one's fault!

This was intended to be used in a Panasonic cordless handset for a home phone. I could hear incoming call in my right ear only and the calling party could not hear me.

We use this adaptor and RCA Jack to 3.5 mm MONO Plug adaptor to connect Conductivity/TDS Probe with RCA Plug to the Meter with 2.5 mm MONO Jack.

The base of the adapter should be tapered. I had to file mine down to fit the device.
