I got this to have a right angle connection with the Tascam DP24SD foot controller input on the front of the unit. It works exactly as intended.

The punch in / punch out pedal on my Tascam DP 24 digital mutlitrack recording studio has a 2.5 mm straight plug on the front of the unit which was a poor place to put it as you run into it a lot. The pedal would be $50.00 to replace so I wanted to have a right-angle adapter to drop it straight down and then pull the cable under the unit and it worked perfectly! I did not get the salesman's name but he was patient and found the correct item, so 5 stars there.
