This looked like exactly what I needed. But because of the cheap way this product was manufactured, it is a micron of an inch away from actually making a connection. This product is a total disappointment, as what looked like a perfect fit, is SOOO close but still a mile away from connection. I am completely pissed.

Does not fit properly into unit. wiggles once installed Slightest move and loses connection. Not worth the effort to return...it is junk Will find another source

I use it with my "old school" headphones, because apparently they don't make amplifiers with 1/4 headphone jacks anymore. But they're also awesome to use with an MP3 player as well.

Bought about 7 adapters for pretty cheap. Have a few that my students have to wiggle around to make work, 2 that the plugs are bending and one that all the small pieces inside just fell apart. Maybe 4 of them work properly.

I needed a new plug and this little jewel works perfectly. It's easy to find the 3.5mm female to 1/4 inch male adapters, but difficult to find the !/4 inch female to 3.5mm male adapters. Glad to discover MyCableMart.com and will buying all of my cables from them from now on.
