The adapter barrel is too long as it sticks up out of the radio too high and when plugged in with my mic, it leans to one side wobbly and doesn't contact well without pressure applied by hand to get some intermittent sound or feedback. I have a 3.5mm connector hole and when the conductor is inserted its like its not a tight perfect fit like my other 3.5mm jacks when I insert them into my SDS100 radio jack.

Needed a balanced cable for Fostex T50RP headphones, which I re-wired so a balanced or unbalanced 3.5mm cable can be used. This adapter, added to my existing 2.5mm to 2.5mm balanced Fantasia cable from Amazon for Sennheiser 599s did the trick. Awesome!!

A 2.5 came with the back up camera and I bought a3.5
A 3.5 from you by mistake. Used the adapter to hook the two together.
