The item was listed as a 3.5 mm female stereo receptacle. I took a chance that it was really a 1/8 inch female stereo receptacle, which it was. 1/8 inch is roughly equal to 3mm not 3.5 mm. You ought to correct your catalog information.

RESPONSE: The IEEE standard shows this to be a 3.5mm measurement, and the 1/8 inch is an approximation.
