COVID 19 Update
05/18/2020 Update: While the state of Minnesota is now allowing retail store operations in a limited capacity, we have made a decision to keep our RETAIL STORE closed for the near future. We will continue to evaluate conditions on a daily basis, and will make an announcement when our retail store does re-open. All products can be purchased on our website, and we will have ready for WILL-CALL/PICK-Up normally within 15 minutes of receiving such order. Thanks again for your patience.
05/12/2020 Update: We have re-enabled WILL-CALL PICK-UP orders for our website orders. Our retail operation will remain CLOSED for the forseeable future. When placing the WILL-CALL order, you will be asked to enter the anticipated pickup date and time in the SHIP INSTRUCTIONS.
05/01/2020 Update: We are starting to see longer delays now for FIRST CLASS (extra 2-3 days), PRIORITY MAIL (extra 1-2 days), and UPS GROUND (1 day) deliveries. Certain UPS NEXT DAY AIR packages are not meeting their normal delivery TIME, but are still being delivered on that correct DAY. All packages leave the My Cable Mart warehouse in a timely manner, and are pre-sorted to ensure the fastest possible transit times to their destinations. We will continue to monitor transit times of all our carriers and will update this frequently.
We have also made a decision to continue to NOT offer our WILL-CALL/PICKUP capabilities yet even though allowed by MN law starting May 4th. We are working on strategies and possible equipment purchases to allow for a seemless and safe WILL-CALL capabilty in the near future. We do NOT expect our retail location to be open until (possibly) near the end of May, 2020.
04/23/2020 Update: Per MN State Governor order 20-40, My Cable Mart will fully opening for SHIPPED operations effective Monday, April 27th for operations Monday through Friday. This will include all website orders, purchase orders, and order taken over the phone. Our RETAIL STORE will remained CLOSED, and the ability for us to offer "Will-Call/Pickup" orders will NOT be available as our business model has been classified an "industrial". This means NO outside customer contact is permitted (no exceptions). Our phones once again will be fully staffed during regular business hours.
IMPORTANT SHIPPING IMPACTS
The US Post Office (USPS) has extended their delivery commitments for PRIORITY MAIL and FIRST CLASS MAIL which will now require an additional day or two for estimated transit times. They have also notified us that a large list of countries is either not accepting postal delivery, or has various limitations on such delivery. Please click for an updated list of such countries.
UPS has removed service guarantees for ALL SERVICES LEVELS for all countries. Shipments using an air service (such as NEXT DAY AIR, or SECOND DAY AIR) can for the most part STILL expect their package to arrive in a timely manner - but such delivery service is no longer guaranteed. UPS has indicated an impact for international packages for certain countries. See this updated list here.
