Regenerates a weaker HDMI signal. Typically and ideally installed near the END point in an HDMI cable segment. Uses 5 volt draw from the HDMI cable's pin 18 to power the on-board booster circuit. As this booster has female/female connectors, you will need a short length of HDMI cable (we recommend a 1.5ft 24 AWG cable) - see related product shown at right) to connect this close to the TV side of the circuit.
