Response: The reported defect rate with the cable that has a life-time warranty is 0.41% as of 09/09/15. This is well within our acceptable parameters. The MICRO HDMI connector itself, with 19 connection points does need to be cared for moreso that a 4 conductor USB connector (for example)
"Read earlier reviews about how the micro end didn't last. I think it is a very small fragile connector and should be treated accordingly. I use the plastic plug that came on it when not in use. Great way to protect that delicate end.
The quality seems to be first class. I connect it to my GoPro Hero4 black and get fantastic results. Thanks MyCableMart!"

Response: We have contacted the USPS to determine why the package was delivered in such poor condition.
"I have pic's of the way it got to me, torn and looks to have been stuffed into something. I almost did not except it. I don't feel it was your fault, it was the post office. I feel you should know this as if I didn't except it would cost both of money."
