But, having said that I believe with this type of an product order there should be something within the system that makes you choose between what was sent with threads and the Balun which is what was needed. Anyone ordering this product does so for use with an older system. This was an old unit I had to be in the garage and use as a radio. I just needed FM reception and this antenna was the type I used to have years ago and I remembered this. Problem is I forgot that I needed a slide on type connector in addition to this antenna."
