"With an HDMI splitter, I connected the transmitter to my cable box. Two walls and a fridge away, I connected the receiver to another TV with an HDMI cable. It works perfectly, stays "paired", and allows an infra red remote cable box controller to work thru the RCVR to the XMTR and thence to the cable box via IR. Just what I expected, wanted, and GOT! Too bad it is all made in China, but it works."
