This TV mount is especially designed for mounting ABOVE a fireplace, with the ability to drop it down to floor level when wanting to watch TV. An internal gas-spring system allows you to return the TV back to the upright, against wall position with a minimal amount of effort. The mount features a 30 degree swivel range, and a 3 degree screen level. The adjustable spring mechanism allows you to change the weight of the mount from 15KG to 35KG (approx. 28 to 72lbs). Cable management clips keep your wires organized for a clean look.
Intended to be mounted above the fireplace mantel, the LPA53N-461 has the features you need to take advantage of the space above your fireplace, the perfect location for your TV. When not in a viewing position the heavy-duty steel constructed mount provides a solid hold for even the largest TV's. Grab the handle and pull your mounted TV "down and out" to view your favorite shows from nearly every possible viewing angle. The quality gas spring design offers smooth and effortless movement while the built-in cable management contributes to an elegant mess-free appearance. Please note: Operating your fireplace while viewing your TV in a down position is not recommended as heat from the fireplace may damage your valuable electronic equipment. The lowering handle is adjustable in height to accommodate different TV sizes (from 1.2" to 8.3" from bottom of mount plate).
