This adapter cable can be used where the SOURCE of the USB signal is connected to the MALE USB end. When connected at this end, it will provide for DATA and POWER (or charge) at ONE of the FEMALE USB ends, and POWER ONLY (or charge) at the other FEMALE USB end. It will NOT provide or act as a USB splitter or hub. The POWER ONLY lead has a special resistor allowing this split cable to be used with both Apple iPhones(TM), iPads(TM), and Android phones for concurrent charging.
