This high-quality, shielded RJ45 8P8C keystone is used to connect two Cat6A RJ45 patch network cables to make a single, longer patch cable through a keystone plate.

- Backwards compatible to all lower rated category components (such as CAT5, CAT6)

NOTE: Due to the slightly enlarged rear portion of this keystone insert, the use of keystone plates that do not allow for adequate space BETWEEN other CAT8 inserts may cause "crowding" and the inability to install such keystone inserts "side-by-side"
